From the womb she nurtures
It’s an instinct that she cannot shake
Her love is like no other
The care that she has will even make you ache.
Your life becomes her eternal issue
Almost a heinous curse
Your good will she tries to pursue
All for the cost of her own sanity
This connection is so intense
It nearly consumes her
Though physically separated at birth
You can sense it no matter where you are on this earth
As you mature in age
The distance between you increases
You develop your own wisdom
The communication almost ceases.
She feels betrayed
As if you have forgotten
The morals that have been laid
A guilt and sense of responsibility have her laden
Burdened with anger and remorse
She worries for your soul
Because of your life’s course
As a mother, she longs to protect you from the rising storm.
She lives through you, her child
Hoping that you won’t run wild
Conforming to the world’s immorality
Building a false sense of immortality
She cries and prays for your well being
But it is in vain
It has no meaning
Because from the horns you abstain
The horns of the altar
She urges you to hurry there
Begs you to repent
Free yourself from Satan’s snare
You have been there way too long
Discovered comfort within
Addicted to wrong
The easy life only leads to a most dismal end

ALONE
I sit here in the world alone
But I ask, is this really the life I want to live
Everyone around harks a different tone
I keep telling myself that something’s gotta give
Sometimes I get a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel
Unfortunately I can never manage to reach it
I always seem to fumble.
Awaiting me is the bottomless pit
It engulfs the very souls of men
With its fiery rage
The agonizing cries will never escape the devil's den
The burning flame engulfs the ensnared mind within its lustful cage
This prison that I have created
Protects me from the world and its hostility
They are intimidated
By anything that questions their morality.
Some choose the easy road.
It is more exciting with its curves and bends
Until it dives abruptly into Satan’s heinous abode
There he waits for our inevitable ends.
Who wouldn’t desire that virile creature?
It exemplifies perfection in every manner.
This beast stands strong asserting its burly features.
Even the most stubborn would surrender.
Yet the fairest of them all stands gracefully.
Who would dare neglect a being with such beauty?
A caring and loving soul, so perfectly
Made, with a divine essence
The world and all of its temptation is dangerous
He says that he would not inflict us with more than we could bear.
Then why do I feel helpless
I stand here exposed,
For the whole world to bear witness.
But I ask, is this really the life I want to live

Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Proclaims society…
Yet actions as compared to words speak louder
And their actions speak a different notion entirely
People are created in many ways different
There would be no meaning in life if they weren’t
Unfortunately humanity is not so accepting
Leaving the extraordinary souls of this world crying
Yearning for answers, and for someone, just someone to listen!
Differences are dismissed as obscure oddities
Can a pea choose the pod in which it develops?
Besides judgment is not left to the whim of secular beasts
One potter molded each and every form on this hopeless sphere of chaos
With an element of pulchritude and a fraction of formidability
Not to undermine that portion of inequity
Personality is what gives us our identity
So who are we to speak with such negativity?
Against our sisters, our brothers
We are simply of the world not some figure of divinity
What happened to equality?
When He blew that first breath of life
Did He predict such insanity?
A world of the superficial
Lacking that simple concept of unity
Unfortunately, our pride, our indifference governs our mentality
Will this world ever be free of such provinciality?
Close your eyes and open your mind
You may be able to see more clearly
The eye only opens the door to speculation
Causing a condescending mentality
Created by social conditioning
To belittle the integrity of promising individuals
