Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Proclaims society…
Yet actions as compared to words speak louder
And their actions speak a different notion entirely

People are created in many ways different
There would be no meaning in life if they weren’t
Unfortunately humanity is not so accepting
Leaving the extraordinary souls of this world crying

Yearning for answers, and for someone, just someone to listen!
Differences are dismissed as obscure oddities
Can a pea choose the pod in which it develops?
Besides judgment is not left to the whim of secular beasts

One potter molded each and every form on this hopeless sphere of chaos
With an element of pulchritude and a fraction of formidability
Not to undermine that portion of inequity
Personality is what gives us our identity

So who are we to speak with such negativity?
Against our sisters, our brothers
We are simply of the world not some figure of divinity
What happened to equality?

When He blew that first breath of life
Did He predict such insanity?
A world of the superficial
Lacking that simple concept of unity

Unfortunately, our pride, our indifference governs our mentality
Will this world ever be free of such provinciality?
Close your eyes and open your mind
You may be able to see more clearly

The eye only opens the door to speculation
Causing a condescending mentality
Created by social conditioning
To belittle the integrity of promising individuals
